The shape of the journey
Two parts of Puglia.
Time in each.
Four nights in the north.
We unpack, head out into Puglia, and come back to the same place. There are people to meet, towns to spend time in, and an afternoon left open.
Then four in the south.
One change of base begins a second chapter, with plans for towns, olive groves, wine and time by the sea.
These are the places shaping the journey. The order of our outings will be settled separately.

We are selecting a small property that contributes to the journey: its setting, its outdoor space and the time we can spend there together.

In Orsara di Puglia, we spend a full day with Peppe Zullo, his food and the landscape around his work.
Luca has known Peppe for years. That gives the day a personal quality, but the place remains the point.

We are developing these four nights around a carefully chosen masseria-style base, towns, olive groves, food, wine and time on the coast.

Streets to walk, a good place for lunch, and room around the visit. Smaller towns will enter the journey where they make sense.

We are leaving room in the southern plans for the beach, a swim, and an afternoon that might carry on into aperitivo or dinner near the sea.

Experiences being developed
An olive-oil experience, Puglian wine and time inside a working producer or craft. The land and the work give context to what reaches our table.
Primitivo and Negroamaro belong in the plans, alongside olive oil, regional food and lunches with enough time to enjoy them.
The individual wine, oil and working-place arrangements are still being finalised.

A private boat day is planned
A day to see the coast from another perspective, with a private boat for our group.
Time on the water, places to swim, and caves where the selected route allows. Snorkeling where appropriate.
The vessel, departure point and route are being finalised. Swimming stops depend on sea conditions.

A full day with Peppe Zullo in Orsara di Puglia. Altamura and Caseificio Dicecca. The Saline di Margherita di Savoia. At least one afternoon left open.

South · 4 nights
The planned programme brings together Lecce, Ostuni, olive oil, Puglian wine, a working-place encounter and the coast. A private boat day, swimming where appropriate and time at our base are part of the plan.
Southern stops and arrangements are being finalised.
Personally developed and hosted by Luca, with two carefully selected stays and room to enjoy where we are.
Exact dates, properties, group size, price and inclusions will follow. This is an announcement of the journey in development.
When is it, and how long?
June 2027, for eight nights. Four nights in northern Puglia, followed by four in southern Puglia. Exact arrival and departure dates are still being finalised.
Where are we staying?
We are selecting two small properties or masseria-style stays that suit the journey. The base towns and accommodation have not yet been announced. Each base gives us somewhere to return to over four nights.
A pool, specific room types and other property features will be described once the properties are selected.
How much moving around is there?
We change accommodation once, between the two four-night stays. We also travel out from each base to visit places during the chapter. The single move does not mean there is only one day involving transport.
Transfer arrangements, arrival points and realistic travel times will follow with the final route.
What is planned for the sea day?
A private boat for our group and a day seeing Puglia from the water. The intended experience includes coastline, swimming and caves where the route allows, with snorkeling where appropriate.

What is established, and what is still being finalised?
Established: June 2027; eight nights split four north and four south; two bases; one accommodation change; Luca hosting; Peppe Zullo; Altamura + Dicecca; the Saline; and at least one open northern afternoon.
Planned southern programme: Lecce, Ostuni, smaller towns where appropriate, olive oil, wine, a working-place encounter, coastline and a private boat day.
Still being selected or finalised: exact dates, base towns, properties, southern suppliers, the craft or production encounter, boat, departure point, route, group size, price and inclusions. Planned activities are not yet confirmed bookings.
What will it cost, and what is included?
The price and precise inclusions have not yet been announced. Accommodation, transport, meals, drinks and experiences will be clearly described in the final trip information.
