07nights in Italy

05nights in Sestriere

02nights in Turin

≈15guests in the group

Mountains first. Italy all around.

The runs are only
half the story.

You’re here for the snow. You’ll also have a first-night pizza with people you’re just getting to know, long conversations after the lifts close, and a final evening in Turin with a very different group of friends.

Luca Italian Experiences is shaping this week for college students who want a proper mountain trip with Italian food, city time and thoughtful hosting built around it.

Coming solo or with friends? Both are welcome on the interest list. Check that the planned dates fit your academic calendar.

March 21–28, 2027 · The planned route

One week.
Three good chapters.

Start in the city. Settle into the mountains. Come back for the finale. Choose a chapter to see the plan.

Choose a part of the planned week
Turin rooftops and the Mole Antonelliana, with the Alps in the distance.

Chapter 01 · Ease into Italy

Land. Settle in.
Pizza together.

The first night is in Turin, with time to arrive, get your bearings and meet the group before heading into the mountains.

The welcome plan is simple: a casual pizza evening. Come comfortable, get to know everyone, and let the week begin.

Sunday, March 21 · Turin overnight

A person in winter gear taking a break beside a snowy Alpine panorama.

Chapter 02 · Find your mountain rhythm

Five nights.
Skis or board.

Sestriere is the mountain base, in Italy’s Vialattea ski area. Unpack once, get to know the slopes and reconnect over food at the end of the day.

Monday is for the journey up and getting settled. Tuesday to Friday are the core ski and snowboard days; arrival-day slope time depends on the final transfer and equipment arrangements.

Monday, March 22 to Saturday, March 27 · Sestriere

A plate of filled Italian pasta topped with grated cheese.

Chapter 03 · One more night together

Back to Turin.
Go out on a high.

Return to Turin on Saturday for the final night. The plan is a lively dinner together, with time to enjoy the city after a week in the mountains.

One last table, stories from the slopes, and a proper celebration before Sunday’s journey home.

Saturday, March 27 · Turin overnight
Sunday, March 28 · Departure day

A ski day in France, too?

That’s part of the ambition: an international day toward Montgenèvre. It depends on conditions, open lifts, suitable passes and the final logistics. We’ll confirm what’s possible for this group.

The group makes the week

Your kind of people.
A new place to meet.

The aim is around 15 guests: enough people to make it social, with room to get to know each other.

01 / Come on your ownYou don’t need a ready-made group.

The arrival night gives everyone a relaxed place to start. Tell us you’re coming solo and whether you would be interested in sharing a room; room options and availability will be discussed before booking.

02 / Bring your friendsGive the group chat a destination.

Already have one, two or a few friends in mind? Tell us how many of you are interested. We’ll help you understand the dates, room options and next steps together.

Friend rewards · Being finalized

Bring friends.
Rental perks are in the plan.

We’re developing rental rewards for guests whose friends confirm their places. If you’re bringing a group, mention it when you inquire.

The exact rewards and qualifying booking terms will be shared before bookings open.

Hosted by Luca Italian Experiences

An Italian host.
A college ski-trip perspective.

Founder Luca is planning the journey and will host the group. His own experience as a member of the UCI Ski Club in 2022–23 helped shape the idea: mountain days, an easy way to meet people, and the food and places that make a week in Italy feel like Italy.

This is an independently organized journey. On-snow instruction, if arranged, would be provided by qualified local professionals.

Before you raise your hand

Good questions.

Anything else on your mind? Add it to your inquiry or email us.

Do I need to be an experienced skier or snowboarder?

Tell us what you ride and how comfortable you are on snow. The week is centered on skiing and snowboarding, so we’ll discuss whether the final plan suits your level. Beginner lesson options are still being researched; lessons and guided skiing are not currently confirmed inclusions.

Which airport should I fly into?

Turin and Milan arrival options are being evaluated, along with private group transfers. We’ll share the recommended airport and arrival window once the logistics are confirmed. The planned trip starts in Italy on March 21 and ends on March 28; your international travel may require an additional day.

Will these dates fit my university’s spring break?

University calendars differ. Please check March 21–28, 2027 against your official academic calendar, including exams, required classes and travel days. You can include your university and break dates in your inquiry.

What if I need rental equipment?

Let us know whether you need skis, a snowboard, boots or a helmet. Supplier options and prices are being researched. Equipment is not currently a confirmed inclusion, and any friend-referral reward will have its own published terms.

Is snow guaranteed in late March?

No. Sestriere is a high-altitude resort, but weather, snow and lift operations vary. The final mountain program, including any day in France, will depend on conditions and what is open.

What happens after I register my interest?

Luca will follow up to discuss your dates, experience and group size. When the arrangements are ready, you’ll receive the itinerary, final price, inclusions, payment schedule and cancellation terms. If you decide to join, you’ll confirm your place with the deposit specified in the booking details.
