Why We Created Luca Italian Experiences

There are some things you never forget. The smell of bread baking in the morning in a quiet Roman alley. The warmth of a long lunch at your grandmother’s table, nothing fancy except how much thought and care went into every plate. The feeling of walking through streets lined with history, with neighbors chatting in the piazza as kids play nearby.

For me, that was just life. For you, it might be what you dream of when you think of Italy.

When I moved to California, I began to see my own culture through other people’s eyes. Americans love Italy. They talk about it, dream about it, and try to recreate it. But too often, they end up with something that looks Italian but doesn’t feel Italian.

That’s when I realized what I wanted to create — for you.

I didn’t want to build another agency or another list of tours and packages. I wanted to share what Italy really feels like. The genuine tradition. The bespoke simplicity. The personal touch you only get when someone really knows you, and really knows the place.

That is how Luca Italian Experiences began.

What we offer isn’t about gold and five stars. It’s about moments that feel thoughtful and real. Just like those afternoons at my grandmother’s house. Just like summers on the Italian coast. Just like walking through Rome on your way to school.
